Doorways concept

Donna for Fortune Clothing at the V & A Waterfront last year.

 

This is a continuation of the concept from the previous update on this blog. This time I photographed Donna against an intricate gateway which seemed to be a hidden access to a garden just off the main pathway. For this shot the gate reminded me of Japanese torii and so we styled the model and look to reflect this. (You can’t see it from this shot but the gate had wooden beams which extended on the top in a very “torii” like way. I picked these zoomed in shots as they were better fashion portraiture-wise.)
